Open Points System

Men's & Ladies' Standings

While the single-win provincial ranking system works well for the majority of participants, Open-level athletes cited a volatility which created more movement than was warranted for the top players in the province. As a result, Squash Alberta has developed an "Open Points System" to be used for seeding and team selection of Open-level athletes within the province.

Points are accumulated at eligible events each season and the athlete's best four (4) events are totalled and averaged according to the following formula:

Eligible Events (Men)
