2026/2027 Squash Alberta Memberships - Changes Update

Squash Alberta is currently in the process of reverting back to a fixed annual membership term  that will run from July 1 thru June 30 each season.  (IE.  Regardless of when a membership is purchased within the 26/27 season, it will expire on June 30, 2027).

The reason we are moving back to a fixed annual cycle is because the current open cycle has created an increased workload on our ESL and CISA  volunteer administrators as well as the Squash Alberta's accounting processes.

Going forward, discount codes will be issued after January 1st of each season for memberships purchased in the second half of the season.

We will be working through existing memberships over the next few weeks as follows:

1.  All existing memberships have been/will be cancelled in the next few days. (the majority of which expire June 30, 2026). (No memberships will auto renew for the 26/27 season - Everyone will need to login to their Club Locker accounts to purchase a membership for the 26/27season).

2. Memberships that were purchased on/after Dec 16, 2026 will be cancelled and refunded on a prorated basis.

** Players in this purchase timeframe that played in the 2026 National Championships or enrolled in a discounted Coach Course will not receive a refund.

3. 26/27 Memberships will be available for purchase starting as early as mid July  2026. (Watch for email notifications)

4. There will be an Early Bird window of 4-6 weeks in July/August 2026 to purchase your 26/27 SA membership prior to a membership price increase on September 1, 2026. (Watch for email notifications to take advantage of these savings!)

Squash Alberta Rankings/Club Locker Ratings - be aware that all ranking/rating data will be retained thru this process. When memberships are cancelled you will notice your name will no longer appear in the provincial rankings.  The Provincial Rankings will be fully restored as players buy their SA memberships for the 26/27 season. It will take a day or two for players to show up in the provincial rankings after memberships are purchased, please be patient with the process.

**We ask/recommend that you set your 26/27 memberships to auto-renew when you purchase it and then on/about June 16, 2027 you will receive an email reminder that your membership will auto renew on July 1, 2027.  (You can email Squash Alberta at that point if you want your membership taken off auto-renew for the 27/28 season)

We apologise for the inconvenience this process will cause and are hopeful that it will be a short lived matter that will quickly resolve and get us back on track for the 26/27 squash season.
