Notice of 2024 Squash Alberta AGM

Notice of Annual General Meeting of Squash Alberta

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the members of Squash Alberta (the 
Association) will be held on Saturday, Sept 28, 2024 at 10:00am for the following purposes:

1. To adopt the minutes of the 2023 Squash Alberta AGM.
2. To approve the financial statements of the Association for the year ending June 30th, 2024.
3. To approve the auditor for the 2024-25 fiscal year.
4. To ratify the 2024/25 Budget
5. To ratify the acts of the Board of Directors for 2023/24
6. To transact other business as may properly come before the meeting.
7. To elect Executive Committee members as follows:

Executive Officer - 2 year term

Secretary - John de Vries(incumbent) seeking a second 2 year term.

Treasurer - Chris Watson (incumbent) seeking a second 2 year term.

The election will be conducted by way of online voting by Squash Alberta members (more details to follow)

8. Acknowledge outgoing Board Members

Dated at the City of Calgary, in the Province of Alberta, the 28th day of June 2024.

The manner in which the AGM will be held (virtual/in-person) is yet to be determined.
